Summer Of Learning
The Summer of Learning was a pilot program created by Aquent to help digital creatives further their skills in HTML5 and mobile development. The course provided access to training videos and books, and includes a self-paced course led by a highly respected teacher on emerging web standards, webinars, an online forum, and action-based assignments for students. My role was to create eye-catching visuals to help drive traffic to the marketing website, and generate buzz around the program. With only the name "Summer of Learning" predetermined, I developed a logo, marketing banners, a website, emails, and giveaways. I played a supporting role with the front end development as well, focusing on responsive handling. The campaign got so many responses that we had to scale back our marketing for fear that we wouldn't have capacity to meet the high demand for this exceptional learning experience.
